If you must Surrender (drop off) your pet please come to the shelter Tuesday through Friday between 8am and 3pm. You must be a resident of Clark County to surrender an animal at our facility.
If you have found a stray animal please bring the animal to the shelter Tuesday through Saturday between 8am and 4pm. If you are not able to bring the animal to the shelter you may request a pick up (dogs only) by calling (859)737-0053 during these same hours. We are only able to accept stray animals that were found within Clark County.
For Emergencies please call (859)737-0053 and follow the instructions to reach our on call Animal Control Officer. Emergencies include injured animals and animals that may be in immediate danger or a danger to the public.
Adoptions are scheduled by appointment. This can typically be done the same day or next day. To schedule an appointment please view details on our ADOPT PAGE.
